About Hyvoda
Company Overview
HYVODA is a technology-driven enterprise specializing in hydrogen-based energy systems. Anchored by methanol as a core carrier, we have constructed an “Alcohol-Hydrogen-Electricity” energy ecosystem. We provide integrated solutions and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services ranging from hydrogen production to utilization for industrial, transportation, and distributed energy sectors.
Our operations are centered on distributed hydrogen production technology, with a specific focus on the methanol reforming pathway. We have established a standardized equipment system and robust system integration capabilities. Our distributed products cover a demand range from 2 Nm³/h to 1,000 Nm³/h, supporting modular parallel expansion to scales exceeding thousands of standard cubic meters. This flexibility allows us to adapt to different industrial loads and energy structures, offering advantages such as rapid deployment, fast response, and stable hydrogen supply.
Methanol serves as an ideal hydrogen carrier due to its ability to be stored and transported at ambient temperature and pressure, its safety, reliability, and mature supply chain. It acts as a crucial hub connecting energy production with end-use consumption. By replacing purchased hydrogen and traditional high-risk hydrogen production methods with on-site generation, we significantly reduce costs and enhance safety levels. With the cost of green methanol approaching RMB 2,000/ton, HYVODA’s alcohol-hydrogen ecosystem is poised to seamlessly integrate with the green energy transition. Furthermore, the company possesses leading technical strength in both Alkaline (ALK) and PEM electrolyzer fields.
HYVODA has established comprehensive system capabilities covering “Hydrogen Production—Supply—Utilization,” extending into applications such as fuel cell power, off-grid energy systems, and hydrogen refueling station. Our systems have been deployed in bulk in industrial scenarios like stainless steel and metal processing, as well as in transportation energy and natural gas hydrogen blending. These applications have fully validated the reliability of our equipment regarding continuous operational stability and economic efficiency.
With “Hydrogen Usage Solutions” as our core delivery model, we go beyond providing core equipment. Through system integration and general contracting EPC capabilities, we help clients lower the barriers associated with hazardous chemical management, equipment operation and maintenance (O&M), and supply stability, effectively driving the efficient implementation of distributed hydrogen usage in the industrial sector.

Global Layout Overview
Headquartered in China and leveraging 19 years of technical heritage in hydrogen energy and EPC engineering experience, HYVODA has established a global business network covering six major regions: the Middle East, Europe, South America, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Through a composite model of “Overseas Representative Offices + Strategic Partners + Localized Project Delivery,” we provide global customers with one-stop hydrogen solutions ranging from hydrogen production equipment to EPC general contracting services.
Middle East
The Middle East is HYVODA’s earliest established overseas market. We have set up a regional representative office with a local team comprising business, technical, and engineering delivery personnel. Our service scope covers Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan. We have launched a dedicated regional business portal: mideast.hyvoda.com.
Local Deployment for the Middle East:
Products specifically optimized for high-temperature desert environments.
Compliance with SASO (Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization) and SABER (Saudi Product Safety Platform) certification standards.
Established a localized supply chain and service response system.
Business and technical teams proficient in Arabic.
Core Functions: Regional market development, localized technical adaptation, full-cycle project management, and client relationship maintenance. Currently, multiple hydrogen projects are in the technical alignment and scheme design phases.
Europe
HYVODA is entering the European clean energy market by partnering with two UK firms. With Northern Ireland’s B9 Energy, founded by renewable pioneer David Surplus OBE, HYVODA supplies certified kW-to-MW alkaline and PEM electrolyzers for projects like the UK-funded 20MW Ballylumford Power-to-X plant. Additionally, HYVODA collaborates with Glasgow-based Hy-Hybrid Energy, led by Dr. Naveed Akhtar, on methanol-to-hydrogen and ALK/PEM systems, providing core technology while Hy-Hybrid handles project development. This dual strategy solidifies HYVODA’s foothold in the UK and Ireland, laying a strong foundation to expand into key European markets like Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands.
2 of 6South America
South America is a key strategic market under development. Leveraging the first-mover policy advantages in hydrogen energy in countries like Chile and Brazil, HYVODA has established a regional business portal (sa.hyvoda.com) and conducts localized market operations in Spanish.
Market Positioning: “Hydrogen EPC Solutions & Wind/Solar/Storage System Integration.” We focus on clients in Chile (one of the most cost-competitive regions for hydrogen globally) and Brazil (Latin America’s largest economy with clear hydrogen planning).
Service Model: Combined remote and on-site service, providing full-process support from feasibility studies to EPC general contracting.
India
India is a key target for HYVODA in the Asia-Pacific region. The Indian government has proposed a target of 5 million tons of annual hydrogen production capacity by 2030, supported by a Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, indicating immense market potential.
Our Strategy: Leveraging China’s mature manufacturing capabilities and engineering experience, we provide cost-competitive alkaline electrolyzers, PEM electrolyzers, and methanol-to-hydrogen systems to serve the hydrogen substitution needs of high-energy-consuming industries such as steel, chemicals, and oil refining. We will gradually build market trust and localized service capabilities through project cooperation.
4 of 6Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia is a vital export market for HYVODA’s hydrogen equipment, covering Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and others.
Focus: With several hydrogen projects already initiated or advancing in the region, we utilize our mature EPC delivery capabilities and cost-effective equipment to focus on scenarios such as industrial park hydrogen microgrids and distributed hydrogen system integration. We aim to gradually expand market share through the successful landing of specific projects.
5 of 6Africa
Africa is an emerging strategic market for HYVODA. Benefiting from abundant solar resources, North Africa (e.g., Egypt, Morocco) and Southern African nations possess natural advantages for developing a hydrogen-green ammonia export economy.
Our Strategy: Our EPC service capabilities and off-grid hydrogen production solutions are highly aligned with this market demand. We plan to enter the African market gradually through international cooperative projects and intergovernmental frameworks, providing technical and engineering support for local renewable energy hydrogen projects.
