The project aims to provide reliable and clean electricity to remote vacation areas that lack access to the traditional power grid.
Our client, Mountain Well Drilling, focuses on developing sustainable infrastructure for off-grid communities. To meet the growing demand for eco-friendly and independent power solutions, the company chose HYVODA’s methanol hydrogen generator to support their resort and forest villa projects.
One of the key advantages of this project lies in the local energy economics — in many parts of North America, methanol is even cheaper than water, with average methanol prices around USD 1.2 per gallon, while bottled water can reach USD 1.5 per gallon. This cost advantage, combined with methanol’s high energy density and convenient storage, makes it an ideal fuel for decentralized power systems.
During the on-site audit, the client’s technical representatives expressed strong satisfaction with HYVODA’s R&D capability, production quality, and project management efficiency. They highlighted that our methanol-to-hydrogen system provides a stable, low-emission, and cost-effective power solution, perfectly fitting the needs of off-grid resort development.
